Columbus Blue Jackets

3rd Jersey Prototype

March 24, 2002

The Columbus Blue Jackets may only be two years old, but an elaborate design for their 3rd jersey became key.

Using red as the primary color for the jersey, blue was used at the end of the arms and body, with silver and lime green encasing it. Lime green stars were added to the arm stripes.

A navy blue shoulder yoke was inserted that would include the player's name, and the primary CBJ logo on the shoulders.

The silver underarm mesh inserts with lime green piping were inserted to keep players cool.

The pants also receive a navy blue shell with a red stripe containing six stars on each side.
